Examples of Our Work

At GreenBlox we work with businesses to develop tailored solutions grounded by a background in organisational psychology and solid experience in applied interventions. Here are a few examples of the work we have undertaken.


We have undertaken a culture and climate diagnostic for a large manufacturing organisation that was in the process of integrating a number of previously independently functioning businesses under the one umbrella. The diagnostic:

  • provided insight into unique attributes and common elements of the businesses;
  • highlighted perception by employees, senior management and executive of the organisation as a whole and individual aspects; and
  • informed strategies for engagement of leaders and employees, and considerations for integration.

GreenBlox
developed a community engagement and behaviour change program relating to water usage. The program was designed to:
  • attract and recruit participants;
  • increase awareness of and understanding of issues relating to household water usage;
  • provide actionable information and behaviour change strategies;
  • generate a sense of community spirit and connection; and
  • develop and harness motivation for change and action.

We worked with a not-for-profit community organisation to gain an understanding of their structure, context and operation to develop a
Performance Management System and Position Description documentation . In creating a high quality solution we:
  • took time to understand and document how and where each position sat within and contributed to organisational objectives and outcomes;
  • facilitated clear communication of responsibilities, relationships and expectations through position descriptions which linked to the performance management system;
  • provided a framework for performance objectives, development requirements and management and incumbent expectations to be discussed, established, measured and reviewed; and
  • enabled attraction, recruitment and selection of appropriate staff.


GreenBlox created guidelines and tools to implement an environmental change program within a large manufacturing organisation. The program:

  • allowed customisation to individual area/group conditions and priorities;
  • introduced a process and contained inbuilt support through information and associated documentation; and
  • contributed to the improved potential green image of the organisation in the market place.


We assisted the Board of a not-for-profit organisation to strengthen governance infrastructure and ensure achievement of responsibilities through:

  • establishment of Board role statement(s);
  • development of a Board Code of Conduct;
  • the creation of a Governance Calendar which outlined each governance activity,
  • when they and preparatory actions were to occur within the annual cycle;
  • generation of a Risk Register, identification of mitigation strategies and process for ongoing monitoring and review;
  • establishment of Board Annual Performance Objectives; and
  • development of an annual reporting structure that included social and environmental aspects of the organisation and not just financial or funding requirement measures.

We developed a Job Analysis process and tool for a global telecommunications organisation to be applied within their Asia Pacific region businesses to underpin all aspects of human capital management. In addition to being easy to use, the product and associated training assisted with:

  • gap analysis and workforce planning;
  • clarification of the tasks, focus, goals of roles within the business and the recruitment attributes and training area of the role holder; and
  • reducing HR inefficiency and increased quality of HR support systems to the business as well as providing professional development for the HR team.


GreenBlox a ssisted a manufacturing business in gaining accreditation for in-house QA assessment through the production of an organisational Quality Assurance Manual . This included the:

  • documentation of business commitment and objectives,
  • human resource management, quality statement, process and reviews, etc;
  • creation of an Organisational Code of Conduct;
  • documentation of manufacturing and QA process maps; and
  • establishment of accompanying proforma for meetings, recording of quality tests and assessments.
